The Sharp or Square Pro Football Pick’em Contest presented by Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook is officially live! This contest gives fans a completely free way to test their football instincts against the show’s hosts, Chad Millman and Simon Hunter, as well as other players throughout the country.
The contest launched ahead of NFL Week 14 and will run through Super Bowl Sunday, covering nine total contest weeks. Entry is 100% free and open to all U.S. residents aged 21 or older, except those located in Rhode Island and Washington State due to regulatory restrictions.
How does the contest work?
Participants can visit sharporsquare.thevolume.com to create an account and submit their picks.
Each week, players must select:
- Five games against the spread,
- One tiebreaker prediction, typically total passing yards for a designated game.
Please note that tiebreakers will be available AFTER Week 14. For this first week, that option will not be offered on the contest site.
During playoff weeks – when the slate is smaller – the contest may incorporate totals or player props to round out the five selections.
All picks must be submitted by 1:00 PM ET each Sunday, and entries can be edited during the week by using the Cancel and Play Again option, which clears the card and opens it for new selections at updated contest lines.
Dynamic Contest Lines
Just like the actual sportsbook menu at Hard Rock Bet, contest lines will be dynamic. They’ll move throughout the week in step with the betting market, but will always end with the hook to prevent pushes. This ensures every pick results in a win or loss, keeping the leaderboard clean and competitive.
Grand Prize
Now, for the moment you’ve all been waiting for: the grand prize. The contest winner at the end of the season will receive a premium sports getaway courtesy of our friends over at Hard Rock Bet:

Key Rules & Notes
- Registration closes at kickoff (1:00 PM ET) this Sunday, December 7. After that point, you will no longer be able to register and play any of the remaining weeks.
- Thursday Night Football games will never be included as a contest pick option.
- Lines and odds will be identical for all competitors, including Chad and Simon.
- Fans can monitor their performance on the built-in leaderboard throughout the contest.
