Garcia looks like he’s getting back in his bag a little bit. That’s how we see it.

And if that version of Ryan shows up, we understand why Shakur thinks he’s going to win.

Shakur vs. Garcia in the Cards?

If Ryan is really back like that, we think he needs to lean all the way into it – because there are big fights waiting for him.

Shakur made it clear: he wants to fight all these guys. You name them, he’ll fight them.

It could happen next. Shakur vs. Garica. And we’re not going to lie – people would love to see that.

But first, Garcia has to handle his business against Barrios.

Devin Haney Debate

We also talked a little bit about Devin Haney. We’re fans, but ever since he got touched, he’s been fighting cautious. He’s still super talented. He’s still winning belts and fights. But there’s a difference between now and then.

Shakur sees it another way, though – that a cautious man can be dangerous. He feels that sometimes that edge makes you harder to beat.

He acknowledged that Haney is a good fighter, knows what he’s doing, and is always going to come in shape.

He also mentioned that if anyone wants to make a fight between him and Haney happen, he’d be down.

How Barrios Can Compete vs. Garcia

We closed by asking Shakur about Garcia vs. Barrios again, specifically what Mario needs to do in order to hang around in the ring.

He said it’s simple. Barrios has to be disciplined.

Take away Ryan’s left hook. If you take away his left hook, he’s cooked.

Everybody knows that’s the key. If you take that away, you give yourself a real shot.
