Joe Pisapia’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Tigers Moneyline (+100)
I’m going with the Tigers on the moneyline in Framber Valdez’s debut start for Detroit. I think he’s got a lot to prove after that offseason where nobody wanted a guy who goes out there every year and makes 30 starts just because he had a bad day and threw a ball at his catcher.
He’s also going up against Michael King of the Padres, who has really struggled this spring. I’m a little worried about him. I’m worried about his health, too. Not a good year for him last year. So I’m going to try to take advantage of what I saw in the spring. Framber looked pretty solid, too.
Additionally, the Tigers look really energetic yesterday. McGonigle having a great start to the season. That lineup gets even deeper when you add guys like him to it, all of a sudden hitting in the six spot.
I’ll take the Tigers moneyline at +100. Let’s go.
Chris Welsh’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Brent Rooker Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI
We are going to go to the prop market today, so let’s see if we can make it 3-0 going into the weekend.
I’m on Brent Rooker over 1.5 hits + runs + RBI. He just needs to get two of either hits, runs, or RBIs. And it’s actually pretty close to even money.
Check it out over at Hard Rock Bet. He has good numbers against Kevin Gausman in his career, 4-8. He’s got a homer. He’s in the middle of that lineup.
Brent Rooker is a beast. I do think Nick Kurtz is another popular guy to pick for this market, but I like Rooker to get them on the board.
And even if we just get a double or a single and hit somebody in, we got it. Give me Brent Rooker over 1.5 hits + runs + RBI.
